We are aware that in recent history, your voting actions and crisis response trends have been in lock-step with West Coast leaders such as Speaker Pelosi (CA) and Governor Newsom (CA). 

Your tendency to follow the patterns set forth by the aforementioned leaders is particularly concerning to our faith communities because of recent developments in the state of California. An official release reads, "Places of worship must, therefore, discontinue singing and chanting activities and limit indoor attendance to 25 percent of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees..." These state-enforced restrictions are a clear violation of religious liberty, right to peaceful assembly, and the separation of church and state. 

Our church congregations are made up of responsible and free individuals. We implore you to publicly disown and reject the standard of intrusion set forth by the state of California and ensure that such abuses of power never take hold in our great commonwealth.
